What is the role of technology in creative practice?Artists and technologists alike have an innate ability to deconstruct hierarchies and develop novel solutions to complex problems through cross-disciplinary practice. The role of technology in artists’ and creatives’ work acts as both function and critique and allows audiences new ways of seeing and approaching content. She works as a freelancer, and creates content, pointing her audience to tangible tools and resources, acting as a role model and mentor for others just starting out. Alicia Coleman is a Creative-Do-Good-er based in NYC; She specializes in branding, art direction, design, and interesting conversations. Alicia currently works on Brand Creative at Sesame Workshop, and is a co-host on the Howl for Change podcast.
