In the face of a global crisis, the necessity to nurture local communities, businesses, workers, and artists is essential. We are faced with a unique opportunity to meaningfully disrupt oppressive systems and create inclusive spaces and practices within local communities that foster growth and bring all voices to the table. Intentionally seeking alternative approaches to social practice through creativity, and completely new modes of creation are necessary to successfully address social inequality. This conversation will bring together creatives and community members of the New London area to discuss ground up solutions to strengthening community through creative thinking.
